Married in 1974 and was busy with bringing up two sons for the next decade. Picked up the threads of writing in 1987.
The momentum picked up soon after a brief stint in a New Delhi Magazine as a reporter. And then I took the plunge to be on my own, practicing journalism as an independent journalist, which I have been for the past 20 plus years.
I have been writing regularly on various subjects - lifestyle, women, education, environment, social issues, and often on business /management trends, for leading publications in India and abroad - Economic Times, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Pioneer, Financial Express, and Women's Feature Service, in India;
Business Times, Property Review, Peak Magazine, and Asia 21, and a weekly column for Tamil Murasu, in Singapore; and social trend pieces for other global publications like International Indian from Dubai.
And my contributions in Tamil include leading Tamil Magazines, Kumudam, Kungumam and Kalki.
